Livia Rice is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. After
graduating from East Carolina University, she taught in North
Carolina before moving to Arizona. Mrs. Rice taught
Kindergarten and First grade for Scottsdale Unified School District
for 22 years. During that time, she earned a Master’s Degree
in Curriculum and Instruction from ASU. Most recently she taught at
Hopi Elementary for the past 14 years. Her two children both went
to Hopi, Ingleside, and Arcadia.
Allison is originally from Chicago but moved to Phoenix when she
was an infant. She, her sister, and her daughter are all products
of Hopi Elementary, Ingleside Middle School, and Arcadia High
School. She attended Texas Christian University and Grand Canyon
University. Alli taught 2nd grade at Hopi for 22 years and earned
her National Board Certification as an Early Childhood Generalist
in 2007, and renewed it again in 2017. Her daughter is a senior at
The University of Arizona. Allison loves living near the Arcadia
neighborhood, where her family still lives.
